Your Support Helps Our Library Thrive

Because of your contributions –

•  This year we commissioned artist Lindsey Wetenkamp to transform our “reading tree” vision into a vibrant, welcoming mural that brings new life to the library patio and honors the library’s many Friends – past, present and future. We gifted the mural to the library, November 15, 2025.
• Through our website, Facebook and new Instagram pages, we increased visibility for the library and programs the Friends continue to fund like the well-attended outdoor water play days, sidewalk chalk and bubbles play days, family game nights, and other craft programs.
• We promoted the library and gave away books for youth to keep at the Oakdale Morning Market and National Night Out events.
• We initiated our fun “Blind Date With a Book” fundraiser.

The Friends of the Oakdale Library exists to support and advocate for the Oakdale Library.  It achieves this because of people like you who help us each year by making a donation to FOL, Inc. We are grateful for any continued support you can provide.
